And while there are new memes popping up every second of every day, there are some that have pushed past the noise and solidified it’s place on the internet hall of fame. Ground Rules

Going with the dictionary definition of meme: “an image, video, piece of text, etc., typically humorous in nature, that is copied and spread rapidly by internet users, often with slight variations.”
An All Time Classic Memes is a meme that has been around for at least a year and that has had some sort of internet culture impact for a decent period of time.
Criteria for a good meme can include but not excluded to:
- Almost instantly recognizable to people who are internet culture savvy
- It has endured over the years and people still think about this meme today
- Something flexible and be used in a lot of different contexts
Some memes were popular back in the day and have little cultural relevance today. Those memes could be considered “All Time Classic” but extra points for memes that are still relevant today
