Dennis Moran

Dennis is a man of many talents and many interests. An accomplished animation FX artist, he is currently working on the highly FX-driven series X-Men ’98. He is also a prolific doodler, and his keenly observed location sketches leap from the page with bold, decisive pen lines. With his comic series, The Skyward Isles, Dennis brings together his many talents and passions to create worlds and characters that burst with color and personality.

For Dennis, color and personality are intrinsically linked. In this episode, he shares how his artistic approach is deeply connected to his synesthesia, giving him a unique perception of sensory phenomena that shapes his expressive signature style.

Chris Dainty

We speak with Chris Dainty, owner of Dainty Productions Inc about all the advantages that come with being a small boutique studio. Through animation, apps, games and books, Chris follows his restless creative instincts, always looking for ways to grow and innovate in today’s shifting media landscape.

Oh and he’s also an ice carver! And he animates with ice?? How is that possible? Chris explains it all in detail on this episode of The Most Fun Podcast.

Meg Ferguson

Meg Ferguson is an accomplished animator and animation director best known for her work on the hit show Hilda, for which she was nominated for an Annie Award for Best Direction.

She is also a dedicated community builder and a vocal advocate for the rights of artists. Meg founded OATS (Ottawa Animators Talking Socially), a community group that provides a safe space for artists to connect and discuss constructive solutions to the challenges they face, whether in the studio or in the wider community.

Inside the studio and out, Meg communicates with intention, sparks collaboration that moves teams toward shared goals, and amplifies the voices around her.
