What even is “Canadian” food anyway?
There are many mixed emotions releasing this episode today. On one hand, we originally recorded this to “celebrate” Canada as we have in the past. On the other hand, with recent news and the further evidence of how Canada has mistreated our Indigenous Communities it’s difficult to feel very patriotic. With that said, we have included resources in our show notes to resources and charities so you can help educate yourself as well as give back to some incredible Indigenous causes.

Ultimately, we decided to release today’s episode anyways. Today’s episode centres more around food than Canada and our guests today would be the first to tell you that they don’t celebrate Canada day. So join Tuong and The Upford Network/Natural Toonie’s  Tom Zalatnai, Alexander Smith, and David Hall as they try to figure out what is “Canadian Food” and make a Top 5 list from it!

The best cheap beer that money can buy.

Budget beers have been a staple for students, parties, camping, sports, and so much more since the dawn of beer. However, these days it’s all about fancy ‘shmancy’ craft beers that are intricately poured with just the right amount of hops and unique flavors, which has been leaving our dear old friends ignored on that beer fridge shelf. Well not today! Today we celebrate cheap beers because sometimes money is tight and sometimes because we just want to have a damn inexpensive beer that gets the job done! Join Tuong La and Beer Buds Justin Godelie, Shannon Godelie, and Dan Foerster as they break out some cold ones and rank Top 5 Budget Beers!

Oh the good ol’ Ranking Game!

Sorry, it’s that time of the year again where the folks at Ranked break out their toques and sip their Timmies on their chesterfields as they discuss some more great things about Canada! Canada is the land of many things. It’s the land of overly polite people, beautiful scenery, but also the land some of the best god damn music on the planet! This year join Tuong La and Moose Riding Mounties Keish Saunders, Shannon Godelie, and Laura Gordon as they talk aboot and celebrate the Top 5 Songs from Canadian Artists!
