From the Dummies Vault: Top 5 Pixar Movies

Over a year ago the Dummies ranked Top 5 Disney Animated Feature Films in a special CROSSOVER episode after spending a few years discussing and catching up to all of the Disney movies. Well we did it all over again, as Pixar Pals this time, watching every single Pixar movie (so far)! That’s right, we’re once again assembling the ultimate top five list as your Pals Tuong, Laura, Sam, and Brad duke it out to decide which story from the adventures of talking toys, to robots finding love, to listening to your emotions, and much more will be crowned our champ!

If you don’t already know the Disney Dummies went on a mission to watch every single Disney Animated Feature in chronological order, discuss them at length, argue about the merits of the movie, shared fun facts, talked about which characters had f*ck energy, and so much more. They eventually caught up and are still on the Disney Train, but needed a second challenge. That challenge was Pixar and so Disney Dummies x Pixar Pals was born and the cycle started again! 10 years of movies, that can’t be THAT hard to Rank right?…right?
The 2010 decade is coming to an end and, looking back, the movie landscape has shifted and changed drastically in the last 10 years. The Twenty-Tens gave rise to streaming, obligatory sequels, reboots, and shared universes; while many smaller indie films struggled to break through the box office. The amount of content we face these days is endless so coming with a list of our favorites was a tough one (especially since it’s been such a great decade for movies).  So join us as Tuong La and Sassy Cinephiles Taylor Fleming, Stephanie Ridgeway, and Sean Mulhern pull out all their movie knowledge and rank down the behemoth of a list that is Top 5 Movies of the 2010 Decade!
