Let’s get something out of the way – female representation in film is not always the best. From being solely a love interest for the main (man) character to having throw away lines that have no bearing on the story, it’s been a rough journey in cinema for females. Fortunately, there ARE some roles that have broken the typical mold and that’s pretty “badass”.
