Will you be our Valentine again?
Love is in the air in the PodCavern for somehow our FOURTH Valentine’s special on Ranked! We continue to live in unprecedented times but that doesn’t mean we should be alone for V-Day. But we get it. Interacting with people is hard. We might forget how to beyond our computer screens and that’s why we have quite the steamy romantic episode for you today! This week join Tuong and The Improv Embassy‘s Adriana Johnston, Joshua Mayo, Woody Field McCadden as they make everyone in the world fall in love with them with their Top 5 Smooth Pick Up Moves for Valentine’s day.

Ground Rules

- Unlimited money in these scenarios
- Some of these could be pretty fictional and outlandish scenarios but we’ll try to stay in the realm of somewhat possibility

5. Deck yourself out in your favourite fandom merch and hope that another super fan runs into you so you can drum up a conversation and be friends (Palentine’s move)

Tuong’s List

- Surprise this person by getting them to come to a room that is flooded by puppies with valentine’s cards and chocolates around their necks.
- Make a big heroic sacrifice (ie against a world ending threat) and before you die you look at that person and say “Save me a dance”. Years later come back and ask for that dance.
- Shut down toxic masculinity when you see it in front of your crush. Cons: you have to be around shitty people for this to work.
- Learn their favourite song on their favourite instrument. If they don’t have a fav instrument default to guitar, MAYBE piano (but no drums or EDM).
- Create a speciality cocktail/mocktail in their honour
- Get a lot of attractive people to give you compliment and attention but then push them all aside to ask your valentine out.
- Make a cameo on their fav television show and then stop everything to look at the camera and ask them to be your valentine
- Use cinnamon hearts to make their arch nemesis trip and fall.
Adriana’s List
- Act aloof but give bread crumbs so that they continue to be intrigued by you. One day you can ask them out.
- Set up a “boss/employee” dynamic. Eventually send a lingerie pic and see what happens.
- Establish a relationship with a person where you are always hugging them. One day surprise them with an ear nibble.

- You are a lawyer for a defendant and create evidence that acquits them but its fake evidence ..but it’s also a love letter? (this one’s confusing listen to the ep!)
