“Yessss my master” *kneels down cowering*

Fictional villains often seem to have unlimited resources to fund their evil plans. Even though we, the audience, are taught to despise these villains, sometimes it’s hard to resist their wealth of cash, their nefarious moral compass, or their smarmy accent. It’s times like these when we wonder “What would it be like to work for this villain?”. Would they treat me well? What’s the benefits package like? Will I die horribly? These are the questions we ask on this week’s Ranked as Tuong La and Underling Candidates Taylor Fleming, Alex Toth, and Josef Addleman rank the Top 5 Best Villains to Work For!

Which fictional villain would you be a minion for? Let us know that and more ideas for Top 5 lists at ranked@podcavern.com!

  • Anti-heroes count
  • They don’t have to be evil to the core
  • Measuring the chance of dying while we work for them. Also job stability, retirement, pension, your co-workers, etc.
  • We can work for them at any capacity that makes sense in that universe.
  • The position you are hired for has to be plausible
  • If it’s a different species than you can be a “minion class” of that world and species
