100 – Ranked’s 100th Episode Spectacular

Celebrating 100 episodes of Ranked!
Almost 4 years ago there was an idea. An idea of Tuong uniting three other guests to bicker, banter, and passionately put together arbitrary Top 5 lists of anything and everything. Over the last few years we have ranked everything from Sandwich Toppings, to TV Theme Songs, to a variety of Fictional Animals. But for the 100th episode, we knew we had to go above and beyond to make a list that TRULY does not matter that also honours the legacy of all Ranked episodes (so far).

So join us as Tuong La and the A-Team Angus MacDonald, Samantha Leggatt, and Leslie Cserepy look back on all of the winners of each Top 5 list we have ever done, pit them together in a battle royale of which #1 was the best, and record a marathon episode where we rank and order ONE HUNDRED EPISODES in Ranked’s 100th Episode Spectacular!

The 2010 decade is coming to an end and, looking back, the movie landscape has shifted and changed drastically in the last 10 years. The Twenty-Tens gave rise to streaming, obligatory sequels, reboots, and shared universes; while many smaller indie films struggled to break through the box office. The amount of content we face these days is endless so coming with a list of our favorites was a tough one (especially since it’s been such a great decade for movies). So join us as Tuong La and Sassy Cinephiles Taylor Fleming, Stephanie Ridgeway, and Sean Mulhern pull out all their movie knowledge and rank down the behemoth of a list that is Top 5 Movies of the 2010 Decade!

The Academy has had one of it’s most controversial years yet. Just when you think they finally “get it” they manage to take one step forward and two steps back. From everything surrounding the hosting, to subtracting and re-adding categories to the main program, to the Best Movie they chose, it’s clear that this whole awards show is kind of a hot mess. However, it’s not all cloudy skies! While this year may not have had the strongest line up of movies, it still gave us some real humdingers which we are here today to share with you!
